Welcome to the Deepdale Junior School website. We are pleased you have found us. Our website is currently being updated; please bear with us at this time.
Who better to introduce you to our school but some of our children?
Watch this space…
We hope our website will give you a window into the life of our school, provide you with the information that you need and promote a supportive partnership between home and school - which is so vital to your child’s happiness, well-being and their educational progress.
Our children are at the heart of all we do here at Deepdale Junior School. The staff and governors want every child to be the best person they can possibly be. We would like our children to be ‘well rounded’, ‘caring’ and ‘successful’ individuals. Our vision is for our pupils to be well prepared for their future in an ever changing world by developing life skills such as resilience, adaptability and independence as well as being confident and self-motivated.
We recognise that starting junior school or moving school are very significant stages in your child’s life; we want this step to be as happy and problem free as possible. We also understand that it is both an exciting and sometimes anxious time for your child and for you, as parents and carers. Our website has been prepared with this in mind.
We hope it will provide you with much of the practical information you need to support your child. If you have any concerns, no matter how trivial you think they may be, please do not hesitate to telephone or pop in to speak to one of our office team who will be more than happy to find you the help you need.
If you have not yet had an opportunity to see our school at work and play, a look around will tell you more than any website can. A visit can be arranged simply by making your request known to one of the office team; I like to meet all ‘prospective’ parents and their children whenever my busy diary permits and look forward to meeting you.
"We are committed to providing the best education for our children, and the Deepdale community, to help us all develop into happy, healthy, caring and successful adults."
